I have a deep understanding of the complexities involved in this field. My career began in 1976 as a shop steward and representative for Local 240 Teamsters and in 1982 as an organizer for Teamster Local 272. In 1985 I joined Local 222S HERE as an organizer, elected to Secretary Treasurer, President, NYS organized, and District Council VP. In 1998 I joined the UFCW and in 2014 I retired from Local 312 UFCW to join FMCS as a Commissioner and neutral. As of May 2025, I'm providing services the agency no longer offers.
Involved in over 350 labor contract negotiations as a union official ranging in length from 1 to 9 years covering up to 625 union members.
As a neutral I was involved in over 120 collective bargaining mediations with units up to 12,000.
